most of the time my brain feels too heavy, dead and tired and muddled to feel things or to create, no matter how well I’ve slept (sometimes conversations seem impossible too) and so I’ve taken to statistics and facts and science to comfort me and ground me. otherwise I just feel anxious and empty.
